Part 4. Private Chapter: Original Furukawa Yuki, 99% Kind-hearted Man

(TL note: The real word is not “kind-hearted man”, it’s “warm man”, but the meaning is a man that has a kind heart, so kind-hearted man it is.)



“Macho”, “Cold man”…… These words are not quite detached, to define Furukawa privately, using “99% kind-hearted man” word is more appropriate, the remaining 1%, is a prominent family background, education and wisdom that can’t be covered by a look of elegance, cool temperament. After relatively serious talking about “Itazura na Kiss" bits of drama shooting and debut process, thought about acting, Furukawa shared about his OFF TIME (outside of work) with us, as well as unique casual discussion about love. First love…… First love…… (Look up, looks like thinking about memories), how should I define first love? Probably at my middle school days then! When I was a seventh grader, (there’s) a classmate of mine, a mixed race girl, she is very popular in the class. There’s no story about me and her (showing a very regretful expression).

Unrequited love? You didn’t confess to her?
Could say it like that. She is mixed, in the midway she quit school and go to America. So I and her have no choice (TL note: chance) to have development.

If yourself encounter a “straight-ball girls” (frank girls) like Kotoko, how will you respond?
If myself get a confession from such frank girl, frankly, I would be very happy.

Happy, after that? What action that Furukawa-san will take? Will it be like Naoki (initially), take rejecting attitude?
(immediately say) I won’t, I will certainly accept it.

Strong girls and considerate girls, which type that you prefer?
Both types are OK. (Reporter: If you really must choose?) Um…… Very hard to choose. As long as they’re be theirself, it’s okay. If occasionally overbearing, it’s also very cute, if occasionally gentle, I’ll also like it. Girls type that I like, no special criteria of what it must be.

In the drama, you play role of a boy that fall in love, if Furukawa-san fall in love in the real life, what will be your move? Or what kind of relationship that you want to build?
I myself will accordingly (respect) adjusting with other party. For example, she wants me to do something, I will do so. It’s really hard to say, it depends on what kind of person she is, a different person (TL note: if the personality is different), my way to get along also will be different. However, overall, I will do things that my girlfriend want me to do.

Also can be said that when you’re in a relationship, will you be in a lead position or can also get lead (by the girlfriend), which one?
Be the lead or not, I hope when dealing with my girlfriend, we each other can show other our reckless side, if only one person become the lead, such a relationship can be very tiring, so for me, get spoiled with each other, depend on each other, is the ideal love.

So to say, you don’t have ideal type of girl?
I have! The girls’ mental (mental age) older than me, mentally older than me. Regardless her actual age is 10 years younger, or 10 years older, I don’t mind. Girl that has a unique temperament, will be very appealing to me.

Do you believe in love at the first sight?

No, toward dating, toward myself and my girlfriend, they’re not particularly defined. All can be changed according to each other.

Um…… I will follow her intention, I won’t retain. Most boys are like this, I think (laughs). Girls won’t be willing (will attempting to retain), but most boys don’t.

Overall, I hope get married earlier. Because I want to have a child quickly, I love children. Instead of saying I want to get married, I rather want to have children.

Earphones. (When I) focus on remembering lines, I would use earphones to isolate myself with outside (murmuring). I also can listen to some dance music, if I’m going out, then I could wear glassess and hat.

How you spend your OFF (rest) time?
I often go to “Cat Cafe” (Cafe/coffee shop that has pets/cats to view and play for). (Reporter: By yourself?) Right, actually many boys go by themself. I don’t have a cat, so there I can enjoy my time with the cats.

If you get reborn, what you want to change to?
(not hesitating even the slightest) Furukawa Yuki, now just like this is very fine.

If you go to an unhabitated island by yourself, and must bring 3 things, what would you bring?
The first is the bed. I’m a person that very care about bed, so in the plane, or staying in a hotel, it’s very difficult to have a good sleep. So I would bring my own bed.
